His visionary production includes albums with Talking Heads, Devo, U2, Laurie Anderson and Coldplay, whilst his long list of collaborations include recordings with David Bowie, David Byrne, Grace Jones, Karl Hyde, James Blake, Fred again.. and many others. His visual experiments with light and video continue to parallel his musical career with exhibitions all over the globe, from the Venice Biennale and the Marble Palace in St. Petersburg to Beijing’s Ritan Park and the sails of the Sydney Opera House. In recent years he has released a series of new albums including Small Craft On A Milk Sea, LUX, The Ship, Reflection and most recently last years' Music For Installations box set. Brian Eno’s first ever solo live concert series ‘Ships’ is a newly commissioned work from La Biennale di Venezia with the first performance premiering on October 21st in Teatro la Fenice as the centre piece of the 2023 Venice Biennale Musica. ‘Ships’ features an orchestral adaptation of Eno’s acclaimed 2016 album, ‘The Ship’ as well as new and classic Eno compositions. The definitive documentary film ‘Eno’ was premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2024. It is a typically groundbreaking project - a feature film that’s never the same twice directed by Gary Hustwit. Compiled from hundreds of hours of video footage, music and interviews, the film explores Eno’s music, art and ideas, giving the viewer intimate personal insights into his creative processes. The film is currently being screened around the world.
