French house duo Cassius, comprised of Philippe Zdar and Hubert Blanc-Francart (Boombass), were pioneers of the French electronic scene. They previously recorded as La Funk Mob and Motorbass, produced for MC Solaar, and remixed Björk, Daft Punk, and Depeche Mode. Known for their influential house tracks like "Foxy Lady," they founded Cassius Records. The duo ended in 2019 with Zdar's death.
