British DJ and producer Daniel Avery (born September 30, 1986) has released five critically acclaimed solo albums since 2013's Drone Logic, plus a collaborative LP with Nine Inch Nails' Alessandro Cortini. His latest, Ultra Truth, marks a shift from escapist euphoria to confronting darkness directly--a "distorted fever dream" of heavy, dense sound created in his Thames-side studio with collaborators including HAAi, Kelly Lee Owens, and Marie Davidson.
