Dennis Berglund, probably more known as ‘Dennis the Menace’ now living in Örebro Sweden started his career somewhere around 1995 while having fun with a turntable, cassette player and a lousy mixer.Thru all the years Dennis have a quite diverse experience playing all styles of electronic music and during the last 5 years he went from releasing hammering psytrance to play melodic progressive and lately more over to the techie soundscapes but is still able to adapt well and make a smooth and nice crossbreed between different styles to what ever the demand is on the dance floor. Since Dennis motto was that nothing is really good enough he was always a sucker for that little extra and when it came to Djing he realized he wanted to take it a step further, to break patterns and move into the future. Dennis is always trying to go further and push the boundaries as far as possible when it comes to Dj’ing. After all, the dj is responsible for the dance floor and could be responsible for the Saturday night for thousands of people. Therefore the quality of the equipment used is just as important as the skills of the dj and the music he chooses to play. Dj’ing for Dennis is more than just a guy in a corner acting human jukebox. He always chooses his tracks carefully by reading the dance floor, beat mixing the tracks as harmonic as possible and combine it with a pinch of musical theory to become one with the dance floor and make it a good ride thru all spectrums of the soundscape. Dennis was the founder of Devils mind records that was releasing hammering psytrance and have also been working with the infamous russian label Insomnia Records, but thru the years his feeling for groove became much stronger and by that he started to play more progressive music and left Devils Mind to join Tribal Vision as label Dj and crew. Many releases from Tribal Vision have reached the top positions of various charts and got a heavy support from the biggest DJs of the planet, including names such as Markus Schultz, Hernan Cattaneo, Armin Van Buuren, Dubfire, D-Nox, Sander Kleinenberg, Paul Van Dyk, Judge Jules and many others. A lot of tracks found their way to the most prestigious mixed compilations by licensors like Ministry of Sound, George V (Buddha Bar) or Armada Music. Some of the artists that appeared on Tribal Vision releases in the past are Minilogue, Dousk, Chris Micali, Jerome Isma-Ae, Moonbeam, James Harcourt, Alex Young, Thomas Penton, Wehbba, Greed, Parham and Plaza, Oliver Klein, Peter Juergens, RPO, Glenn Morrison, Antix, David Weed, Brisker and Magitman, MOS, Peter Horrevorts, Fitalic, Solead, Andre Absolut, Eelke Kleijn, Noel Sanger, D-Nox and Beckers, Phatjak, Inkfish, Miki Litvak, Kosmas Epsilon, Peter Gun, Vibrasphere, Ticon, Jaia, Fiord, Phony Orphants, Human Blue, Perfect Stranger, Cid Inc. (Mashtronic), Tegma, Yotopia, Lish, Sun Control Species…and many more! Dennis has been playing in countries like France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Russia, Belgium, India and in the UK to name a few and is now representing Ecler Pro Team in Sweden. Somewhere around 2013 Dennis returned to the psychedelic soundscapes and joined the new label Z-Plane records started by Hux Flux as Label Dj and crew member.
