French DJ and producer Dimitri (born Istanbul, Oct 27, 1963) launched his career at European radio station CFM over a decade before the late '90s. He remixed tracks for Björk, New Order, and Brand New Heavies, while creating soundtracks for fashion houses including Chanel, Gaultier, and Lagerfeld. Self-taught through DJing and remixing, he evolved into producing original music using samplers and accessible technology from the mid-'80s onward.
