DJ Fresh (Daniel Stein, b. 1977) is a pioneering English drum & bass/dubstep producer and DJ. Co-founder of supergroup Bad Company and owner of Breakbeat Kaos label (with Adam F), which launched Pendulum, Sigma, and Nero. Achieved D&B's first UK #1 single and first dubstep #1, with hits like "Golddust" and "Hot Right Now." Scored ten Top 10 singles including two #1s, collaborating with Rita Ora, Dizzee Rascal, and Ellie Goulding. Launched FRESH/LIVE in 2011, performing with a full band.
