DJ Preach

Born Philippe Babin and raised in Quebec, Canada, Preach cut his teeth in Montreal and Quebec City’s dance scenes, DJing regularly at large clubs such as Sona and Aria and releasing for local labels Relentless, Ascend and Edit Recordings. Quickly drawing the attention of global dance music stars such as Tïesto, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk or Marco V, and finding his releases on international labels MB Elektronics, Symbolism or Iturnem, Preach followed his heart and crossed the Atlantic Ocean to Breclav, Czech Republic, in early 2005. Founding his own music record company that year, Relic Recordings and sub-label Relic Silver house Preach’s and Marco G’s productions, respectively, alongside those of like-minded artists and friends. The labels are now among electronic music’s most prestigious, featuring acclaimed releases and remixes from Filterheadz, Michel de Hey, Marcus Schossow, Tyler Michaud, Miko, Donald Glaude, Laidback Luke, Marco V, Valentino Kanzyani, Eric Sneo & Jamie Fanatic. The broad appeal of the label, which touches on electro, techno, house, progressive and trance genres, has brought listeners and dancers from many persuasions into the musical world of Preach. In Addition, Preach has started his own radio show “Transatlantic” on DI.FM with FM radio syndicates growing every day! The show features two hours of Preach’s exclusive mixes and guest DJ mixes. DJ wise Preach will appear on Ferry Corsten’s Flashover stage on Dance Valley Festival 2008 Edition in July including appearances at UK’s most prestigious Goodgreef events and Czech’s Creamfield 2008 Edition.
