DRC

San Francisco DJ/producer since the early 1990s (now based in Los Angeles) who combines the elements of techno, trance, drum and bass, breakbeat, and more. Has played all over the United States, Canada, Germany, Holland, and Eastern Europe. DRC has worked in the studio with [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/46392-Jondi]Jondi[/url] (Looq Records), [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/58541-Chris-Demetras]Chris Demetras[/url] (DSP), and [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/418604-Keith-Schreiner]Keith Schreiner[/url] (Auditory Sculpture/Dahlia). The perpetual drumming and chanting at the annual pow-wows near where she was raised in Northern Idaho awakened DRC's first musical and spiritual callings. From an early age, her life would evolve through the rhythm of drums. From elementary school on, she enjoyed choir and took four years of private classical vocal training; this led to performing and singing in highschool plays and local theater productions. After highschool, Darcey moved to San Francisco, where she sang with a local cabaret act in 1990. She was introduced to the club scene and left the group to begin DJing a year later.
