Grooverider (Raymond Bingham, b. April 16, 1967, Streatham, London) is a pioneering British drum and bass DJ and producer. A major force in d'n'b history, he was resident at legendary club Rage, witnessed dance music's evolution from acid house to drum and bass, and mentored emerging talents like Goldie. He founded Prototype Recordings label and hosted influential radio shows with Fabio on Kiss FM and BBC Radio One. His 1998 album "Mysteries Of Funk" showcased his diverse influences from funk to punk.
