James Holden is a UK-based producer and founder of Border Community label. Starting with progressive house/trance (1999's "Horizons"), he evolved into ambient, IDM, techno, and experimental genres. Known for influential remixes (Madonna, Radiohead, Depeche Mode) and innovative DJ sets using modern technology, he's established Border Community as a breeding ground for electronic talent since 2003.
