Joey Negro

Joey Negro was the main alias [a=Dave Lee] worked under from 1990 to July 2020, when he announced he was dropping it. In 1990 he was given an opportunity for his first solo release on [l608]. Believing his own name to be somewhat mundane, he decided an alias was required. Unable to think of a suitable name and under pressure to meet a deadline, he took inspiration from the artist names that were present on two records amongst a pile upon his desk. Elements from [url=/artist/4451-Pal-Joey]Pal [b]Joey[/b][/url] and [url=/artist/281120-J-Walter-Negro]J Walter [b]Negro[/b][/url] were used to form the main artist alias used on "[m79550]".
