Larry Tee Bio No one can claim legendary Dj status quite like Larry Tee. He has played alongside Frankie Knuckles and Junior Vazquez, at the Roxy, Palladium, and the Limelite. He wrote the song that made RuPaul famous, 'Supermodel (You Better Work). He curated the Electroclash festivals where the genre name came from. He introduced clubkid culture to the world. He's had hits with Afrojack, Princess Superstar, Steve Aoki and Santigold during the ‘figit’ era hitting gold with Licky and Let’s Make Nasty. This year he has hit the beatport top 20 again with his bitch tracks collaborations with Rekids’ Radio Slave, The Royal Academy of Fierce, Black Pussy's Revenge and Fashion Queen. Larry took a 5 year break to launch his clothing line TZUJI, in the process dressing Missy Elliott, the B52s, MMEK and Jimmy Fallon, as well as a hosting his fashion runway show at Berlin mega-club, Berghain. Tee is now recharged and ready to take his new bitch traxx and classic New York Party House sound on the road, again. He’s even doing some electroclash 25th year anniversary gigs. Recently he’s discovered a whole new generation of provocatively political queer, trans and non-binary artists making original music. He will launch a CD compilation of the best on REKIDS called ICONS. A festival of the same name will feature many of the performers from the album along with drag shows with drag star Morgan Wood and fashion runway shows. Afterwards, the ICONS festival stage will also be hitting the summer festival circuit, dates TBA. Few DJs have mastered different genres, and had such an impact with their music on and off the dance floor.
