Major Lazer is an electronic music project created by Diplo, formerly with Switch until 2011, now featuring Walshy Fire and Ape Drums. Since 2009, the trio breaks barriers by celebrating global cultures and genres, collaborating with international artists like J. Balvin, Nicki Minaj, and Mr Eazi. Their music fuses dancehall, reggaeton, afrobeats, and hip-hop, exemplified in their 2020 album Music Is The Weapon.
