Makoto is a pioneering Japanese drum and bass producer known for his soulful, jazz-infused liquid sound. Signed to LTJ Bukem's Good Looking Records in 1999, he released the acclaimed debut album "Human Elements" (2003). Influenced by Goldie, LTJ Bukem, and Ryuichi Sakamoto, Makoto has released on Hospital Records, Creative Source, and his own HE:Digital label, collaborating with DJ Marky, MC Conrad, and others. A key figure in liquid drum and bass for over two decades.
