Polish-born Robert Babicz moved to Germany in 1980 and began releasing music in 1993, notably as Rob Acid. The Cologne-based producer founded Babiczstyle label (2010) and DIRT CUTS (2015). Known for 100% live improvised techno sets he never repeats, he has synaesthesia--experiencing music as 3D geometric shapes. With 1000+ releases across labels like Bedrock and INTEC, he's also a sought-after mastering engineer and sound designer for Native Instruments and Apple.
