Simon Neale, aka Shadow Child/Dave Spoon, is a Portsmouth-born UK artist, producer and DJ. After success in electro house, he reinvented himself as Shadow Child in 2012, fusing bass-heavy house with jungle, D&B and rave influences. His Dirtybird debut "String Thing" and single "23" (featured in GTA V) established him in UK deep house. He founded Food Music label, was part of duos Lovequest and MASC, and became a Kool FM resident after 9 years on Rinse FM.
