Shlohmo is LA-native Henry Laufer, a 22-year-old electronic producer and founding member of WEDIDIT collective. Influenced by DJ Shadow, Amon Tobin, and Flying Lotus, he creates lo-fi, psychedelic beats blending abstract hip-hop, synth-funk, and trip-hop with emotive melodies, obscured samples, and slow-motion drums. His dark, cinematic sound has earned acclaim from Pitchfork, BBC Radio, and NPR, establishing him as a leading voice in west coast electronic music.
