The two teamed up together and started experimenting with new tunes such as ‘Straight to Ya Ear’ and ‘Give Me More’, both on Maximum Boost Recordings. Something was missing and along came Krafty MC. Out and about on the circuits since the late 90s and with residencies at Dreamscape, Raveology and Innovation, Krafty was about to add his vocal talents and give the trio that extra something special. And so with the fusion of their know-how and craft based on over 40 years combined experience in the music industry the multifaceted sound of Slum Dogz was unleashed upon the world. Pushing the boundaries of drum and bass and bringing in elements of dubstep new tunes soon followed, tracks like 'Bad' and 'In The Hood' earning plaudits. Then reviving older tunes for a new generation, remixes of ‘Neighbourhood’ by Zed Bias ft. MC Rumpus and Nicky Prince, then Micky Finn and Aphrodite’s infamous ‘Bad Ass’. The live Slum Dogz showcase comes with a mix of high velocity beats and auditory delights, interweaved with news reports, skits, Slum and Bass specials and VIPs, bass music guaranteed to get the crowd begging for more. These Dogz are fully licensed to take over the streets, listen out for the Slum Bass beat coming your way soon.
