Vince Guaraldi

American jazz pianist and composer. Born 17 July 1928 in San Francisco, California, USA. Died 6 February 1976 in Menlo Park, California, USA. Best known for composing music for animated TV adaptations of the [i]Peanuts[/i] comic strip. His compositions for the series included the signature melody "Linus and Lucy" and the holiday standard "Christmas Time Is Here".
